Imitation Foreign Devils Flag Sets

"Imitation Foreign

Devils"

The "Imitation Foreign Devils" (IFD's) were units of Native Chinese soldiers raised and led by European Officers to fight in the Western manner, with modern fire arms. A variety of such volunteer units were raised with Imperial commissions and saw varying amounts of action by the war's end.

Most flags offered are for Battalion/Regiment sized units, however Company Flags (somewhat speculative) are offered for the EVA and ETA as separate Sets in all Scales, however all 6mm IFD Flag Sets include all Company flags as well at no extra charge.

The ETA Sets also include a number of Boat Flags as would be flown by their steamers and/or the ubiquitous Imperial "Gunboats" which accompanied their operations across a country extensively broken up by lakes, streams, canals, or just watery ditches.  A Set of EVA Boat Flags is offered separately.

To learn more about these units and the choices made to represent them, visit the IFD's Information Page .

Please Note: The samples shown for each Set do not show all the flags in each, except for the "EVA Boat Flags" which are as shown.
